Israel Pedro Dias Ribeiro

Israel Pedro Dias Ribeiro is a PhD student at the State University of Santa Cruz (UESC, Brazil) and a visiting PhD scholar at the Centre for Policy Futures at The University of Queensland, Australia. Holding a Master’s degree in Development and Environment and a Bachelor of Laws, his research adopts an interdisciplinary approach at the intersection of environmental governance, public policy, and sustainability. His primary research focus is to investigate how governance arrangements and local policy capacities influence the development and implementation of Payment for Environmental Services (PES) policies.
