Dr Sandya Gunasekara

Sandya’s research focuses on ocean sustainability, fisheries governance, marine biodiversity conservation in Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction (ABNJ), and the management of Large Marine Ecosystems. More recently, she has expanded her work to examine agricultural policies, biopesticides, and decision-making related to food security. Her expertise includes both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
