Understanding governance in Bahia’s river basins

Understanding governance in Bahia’s river basins
This project explores how policies, programs, and regulations help address threats in river basins across southern and far southern Bahia, Brazil. These threats include urbanisation, water pollution, and unsustainable land use. The research forms part of a broader assessment using the DPSIR framework, which links environmental pressures with social and institutional responses. It is a partnership between the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB), the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA), and the University of Queensland (UQ).
